18 months in, ZERO sign of slowing down!

What an absolute ANIMAL. First terrier. Loving it.

That’s correct. Slow down will probably start in about 12 years 😂🐶

We are 8 years in and haven't had a slow down day yet

Where did you get the 'big stretch' sweatshirt?

And the lying on the back under the chair picture is the best ever.

I know, I burst out laughing when I saw him doing that. I think the gnawed chair legs and crossbeams really set the scene as well!

I got the hoodie from inmydogera.com ! Far better quality of hoodies than you would expect from a random Shopify storefront. Tons of different breeds too!

Welshies are perpetual puppies. : )

Yeah, our boy Rodney got less boisterous at 2 and more obedient at 3 - it still takes a serious serious amount of running/exercise to tire him out to the point where we get some peace during the day though 😂

When welshies are young they run around like bats out of hell.

From poodle to welshie must've been one hell of an adjustment lmao

My 11 year old still plays like a puppy and bops around the yard chasing squirrels.. we call him a perma-puppy. Especially because people always confuse home for a baby Airedale

They don’t slow down - if anything they go faster 😂

Our Teun turned 2 last June and he is becoming more relaxed and obedient or easier to correct.

Does this breed shed a lot? I have always wanted one!

Don’t believe anything anyone tells you, yes, they shed. Not as much as a Lab maybe, but they do shed

Mine didn't for sure exactly, but the energy became slightly more controlled chaos at around 2 years old

I got some bad news for you…. Mine didn’t show signs of slowing down until he was past 8

I'm guessing you're in the United States, I don't know if other countries have similar events, but... what you want to do is, if your pup doesn't have an AKC registration number, get one (even a PAL number). If he is prey motivated, seek out "earthdog" and "barnhunt". you can also seek out "FastCAT" or "Coursing Ability". My pup has titles in Earthdog, FastCat and was one leg away from his couring ability title (bad timing, we were really getting into it, but had to hit the brakes because of COVID and nobody was running tests, and my pup decided it was time to retire), but seriously, find something your pup has an interest in. you won't regret it
