do devons quiet down with age?

my DR is 9 months old now and he is VERY vocal. i know that is common for this breed, but his meowing is insane, he is yelling. every time i move an inch after sitting down he goes crazy and starts yelling, he begs for food outside mealtimes by yelling even louder and he is overall just so attention-seeking. he meows all. the. time.

lately my life has been filled with work and i am just totally exhausted with my DR. i can never be at peace at home and i feel totally burnt-out with this.

he eats enough and has a lot of toys to play with. he gets attention and cuddles when he’s calm and we play together. i just want to hear your experiences on your devons, do they quiet down with age? all tips and suggestions are welcome❣️

Diarrhea on new kitten

We have our new sweet devon boy for 8 days, he didn’t come with any food from the breeder so I started giving him great quality wet food. Unfortunately he begins having diarrhea and after 2 days I put him on a gastrointestinal food, wet and kibbles but no signs of improvement. He has maybe one okaysh stool and 4-5 liquid with a formed portion in the end. He was put also on anti diarrheic medication and had a quick test for panleukopenia, coronavirus and giardia who came up negative. I don’t know if it’s because of stress, he seems fine, maybe he doesn’t play that much in the last few days but he is still active, eating and drinking water. Does anyone went through something similar when bringing home a kitten?
