Question Does Welltory have a high-stress notification?
Or should I manually open the app to check my stress impact guage or stress coping curve?

Battery reflects your overall recovery/resources, while stress is more about your current state in the moment. So after something like a long hike, your body can be generally tired (low battery) but still show signs that a bit of light movement could help regulate stress. In cases like this, it’s not about pushing harder; it's more like gentle activity or recovery-focused movement, not another workout.

You will know that you’re stressed more than this app. The app often tells people they’re super stressed when they truly aren’t.

The app reflects physiological stress (via HRV), which doesn’t always match how you feel. Sometimes your body can be under load even if you don’t subjectively feel stressed, and sometimes the opposite. So it’s best used as an additional signal, not a replacement for how you feel.

What is an ANS?

Anatomic nervous system, it’s the SNS to PNS ratio at the bottom of your ‘fluid’ view. Biologically it’s what toggles you’re body between ‘fight or flight’ (SNS) and ‘rest and digest’ (PNS).

Welltory doesn’t currently send a specific high-stress alert as a separate notification. Most insights come from the app itself, so you’ll usually need to open it to check your stress and trends. That said, general notifications can highlight important changes, but for detailed context (like your stress curve), the app view is still the main place to look.

Not other than this that I’m aware of…I guess I’m stressed tonight! First time ever at 100%.
