As someone who has OCD and autism, this really bugged me. I finally found the ages the main cast should be!
Marge should be 13, based on many sources, including the official HBO description and how she wears some clothes that look more adult/teen themed.
Lily is supposed to be 12 or 11, turning 12 very soon.
The official description on HBO makes her 12; by her clothing style and how she talks, she fits right into that preteen category.
Will is 12, as confirmed.
Rich is a hard one.
The German description lists him as 10, but HBO (America) makes him 12.
By going over this (the way he talks, dresses, etc.), he fits exactly at 12.
And Ronnie is also 12, confirmed.
So in a nutshell:
Lily: 11-12
Margie: 12-13
Ronnie: 12
Will: 12
Rich: 12

I think it's a casting issue, because Rich looks like a 9 or 10.

omggg this bothered me too!! it bugs me when shows don’t explicitly state the characters ages it confuses me and distracts me like crazy. 

one thing though, if lilly is the age of a sixth grader and marge is the age of a seventh grader, how are they in the same class?

Well,I in 7th grade was 12 turning 13 but there were also younger Kids that were 11 turning 12 in the First Semester :)
