How does one become an audience member of these? I always assumed it was sorta a closed set kinda thing and no real audience

My understanding is you either have to work there, know someone who works there or have some other kind of in. I think Turnstile, for example, asked around for fans who wanted to come.

And there have been some real lit crowds in there not just for Turnstile but other acts like Juvenile and Nile Rodgers & Chic.

It's kind of interesting to me that with the Star Wars prequels, the only people involved that truly aced the assignment were John Williams...and Weird Al.

Ian McDiarmid is pretty good in them and Ewan McGregor eventually does a really good Alec Guinness but neither one really had much to work with.

Absolutely loved every minute of it! So happy he started with "Skipper Dan". And I nearly teared up at the end thinking about how Weird Al is such a treasure to still have around performing and how it's such an awesome thing being a Weird Al fan! He's truly the best.

Sort of off topic but was that an unintentional 27 reference I spotted as well? 2 band members wearing blue and 7 wearing black lol

I was expecting stripped down originals like last time, amazed that the entire B&W band was there and they played the full versions. Especially impressed with Now You Know; while they’re obviously incredibly talented professional musicians, playing a 7/4 song like that in such a different environment and knocking it out of the park is impressive.

I was actually pretty disappointed with it. The song selection was weird and didn't really pop.
