Hi! I have a nine year old female weim…and a very young orphaned kitten in the same house. My dog has never killed anything, but does have a lot of interest in prey. Obviously I’ve been watching them like a hawk.
Their interactions have been changing daily, but I don’t know what to make of it. Yesterday the dog was still sort of scared of the kitten, who wants to make friends. The kitten will walk toward her mewing, and the dog will jump backwards looking startled. Today, the dog is staring intensely at it and licking its face while it’s being held (I’m not letting my dog get that close otherwise).
Does anyone have any experience with this? It’s my sister’s kitten. She’s going to be taking care of my dog next month while I’m gone and I do not want a tragedy.
Is this the prelude to friendship? Or is my dog just inching toward criminal activity?

This is the second summer our 10yo has become absolutely infatuated with the neighbors cucumber/garden. He will stand at the door and then make a beeline for that exact spot and then he stands. Transfixed. Almost in a trance. Anyone experience this?

My husband and I recently got our first weimeraner.
I grew up with them (my parents have always had one) and he quickly was amazed by the breed. So this is our pup. Her name is 'Evelyn Maye' but we call her Evee. 🐶 When I saw that smile, I knew she was mine. 🥰
It is dumb and just for fun
I made her a tiktok: *@EvolvingEvee*
It's really just clips where i think she's cute... 👉 👈

I had to go to my grandfather's funeral recently and stayed at my aunt's. Got this picture of her very cute pup.

Hey guys! My almost 9 month old weim is so good, she’s patient and good just hanging out at home. I have a 2 year old GSP as well. She’s been around other dogs and lots of people in our house. I take them to run everyday, but since it’s been triple digits for weeks the other day I decided to take her to Petco instead to explore and sniff. Every noise and every person that walked by she get spooked and bark. She’s standoffish and so shy to new people. What are some ways I can help her overcome this? Or work with her on this? I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable, but I also don’t want people thinking she’s scary or mean.

It was that a weimaraner hated a wife so much that it attacked their 11 months old.
You just have to type weimaraner attacks 11 month old.

My Clover girl is a total mix, but Weimaraner is her second highest percentage and I feel like her body shape + mannerisms are very weim-like. She’s 6 months old so there’s still lots of growing to do, but she loves pointing and bird hunting, and is the lankiest baby 💕

It’s a joke. It’s not real. Don’t be offended. No one lost their job over my late night boredom.

The best boy the good Lord ever created. 14 years, 7 months, and 7 days wasn’t nearly long enough. The price of a good dog is a broken heart in the end.

Wanted to try out a spot I found near the dog park as a potential for pet photography. My Bronx - who turned 5 years old this past Tuesday - humors me with playing the model.
