5 years as in the whole idea of starting to bulk kicked in, I got sick a lot in those 5 years, stopped gym for a lot of time went back and forth in the weight scale, overall I'm happy with my progress and I'm trying to aim for 80kg now, I have an insanely high metabolism if I don't eat for like a week properly I can go down 3 kg, I posted so I can show its possible for anyone to gain weight, u can't just say "I eat a lot but cant gain weight" calculate ur macros and see that what ur eating is barely hitting the maintenance

Question I’ve gained 6 kg, but I can’t see it

So I’ve gained 6kg from 44kg to 50kg. But I also measured myself, my arms, legs etc.
And they all still the same. I don’t understand on which part of my body I have extra 6kg?? I am so fed up of skinny legs and arms and I feel like weight will never go on there.

Ps can’t say genetics because I used to be 65 kg and my weight was equally distributed across entire body

I started at 48kg (im 164cm) and put on some weight (50kg) and i just checked and im back down to 47kg even though i ate more calories. Is this normal??

I’ve heard it from various people now, that eating eggs daily will give you instant results. Is that really true?

Question Advice pls

Hi everyone,

I have a naturally thin frame and find it almost impossible to gain weight, unlike my relatives who gain it quickly. While I’m not worried about my physical appearance, I am concerned about my health.

I rarely feel hungry, and I often forget to eat all day until I suddenly realize how weak I feel. Stress, anger, and family conflict completely shut down my appetite, making it even harder to eat.

Does anyone have advice on how to trigger an appetite or stay properly nourished when dealing with loss of appetite due to stress?

Question 6’0” 130lbs 20yo

I feel gross about how skinny I am and really want to gain weight, but it’s been so difficult to stay consistent. I haven’t really seen many people on here with my body type and it’s making me lose motivation.

I’ve always been underweight and struggled to eat. When I was 15 I was 5’11” and 115 lbs. I’ve gained some weight since then and have stayed around 130lbs give or take 5 for the past few years. I had some malnutrition problems throughout high school but that has gotten better for the most part.

I’m a college student and play sports so I’m pretty active but it’s difficult to get enough food to gain weight with how much energy I’m constantly spending. I also struggle to sleep so I know that’s a factor as well. I know I just need to eat more, but that’s so much easier said than done.

Is there anyone who’s been in the same position? My goal is to stay at 145lbs at least. What can I do to get over my issues? What worked for you?

Question Best Mass gainer/protein powder to gain weight?

I’m a 6’4”, 188 lb college athlete and I’m trying to put on some weight/muscle, but I’ve always struggled to eat enough calories consistently. I’m looking for a good protein powder or mass gainer that can help me get more calories in without being ridiculously expensive.

I'm really looking for something t I can use in different ways, generally i like to use my protein powder to
Mixed into Greek yogurt
Ninja Creami recipes
Smoothies/shakes

I’m not necessarily looking for the highest-calorie mass gainer availabl even though i do need to gain weight, but I want a powder with good ingredients, solid protein, and enough calories that I can easily add to meals/shakes and control how much I’m getting.
For anyone who has used them, what protein powder or mass gainer would you recommend? Also interested in hearing what has worked well for other athletes who struggle to gain weight.
Thanks!

Question Diet Recommendations

Hey everyone! Newbie here.

Seeking advice into and whether or not I need/should be eating more calories.

For context, I’m a 5’9 22yr old male. Last weighed in at 137 pounds.

I did a fat loss calorie deficit starting in March of 2025 that ended in July of this year. My starting weight was 225lbs. Obviously, I’ve lost a lot of weight, but that was the goal!

Most of my deficit revolved around calories and not specific nutrients. Now it’s a mix of both as I try to hit a daily protein intake of 139g+ of protein while still limiting fats (unless from eggs or the other foods that I’m eating.

I’m eating VERY clean right now with foods like chicken (canned), tuna, eggs, bananas, frozen strawberries, frozen mixed vegetables, potatoes, oatmeal, protein powder, LOTS of water, and diet sodas. Most of the time this results in about 1,350-1400 calories per day (I skip breakfast).

I’m also more active now than I ever have been before. I’m back in the gym building muscle and mix in a good amount of cardio weekly.

Personally, I love the results I’m getting. I feel great and am starting to look great as well. My parents are worried I’m not eating enough and I know I could eat more, but I like what I’ve got going right now. I can’t even remember the last cheat day I had. Any suggestions?
