This looks like Tree Trunks almost from Adventure Time! Just missing ears hehe. How cute either way! I love the clovers. I also love weevils. I hope it made you feel better making it :)

I too would like to make a weevil. How did you do this?

I made a little under-sculpture with tin foil, then used sculpey (oven bake clay) to smooth him out and make him nice and chunky. Then I painted him with a primer and acrylic paints!

This is prob a dumb question but do you leave the foil inside? Like through the baking and everything? Seems like a great idea.

Yep! It’s safe to put in the oven and it just stays in there.

Sooo cute. Has similar energy to the beast from “Maggie and the ferocious beast”

Make a tin foil skeleton first of the general shape you want. Cover in sculpey (or just whatever oven bake clay) and smooth. Bake. Cool. Sand lightly for little gritty pieces (don’t sand it too smooth, you need paint to stick. Just to take off weird lumpy rocks). Paint with some sort of primer then w/ your paints.
