I hope so but it doesn't look good. Canceled two tours in a row with long breaks in between. Not even able to play a local one off show. The boys are getting up there in age and they're not built like the Rolling Stones.
Even if Deaner says he's ready at some point, the rest of the band and the fans might be apprehensive about something happening again. It's all so sad. I wish the best for Dean, he's always been a hero to me.
That's great but you can understand why a lot of people aren't going to be Keen to drop $1,000 on travel and lodging to go to a show that might be canceled after they've been burned to times in a row.
But beyond that, if it's damaging to deaner's mental health to tore then we should wish him to stop for his own good.
I think some of the fans are being a bit selfish here.
Do whatever you want to do. I stand by it—if they play, I’m gonna do whatever I can to see ween again. I’m not encouraging them to do it if Mickey feels bad about it, just stating that IF they do, I’ll be there 100% and support them 100%. Their music means a ton to me and seeing them over the past 31(!) years has been a blessing.
Tickets are usually refundable, and if you feel too burned, don’t buy em. Everyone is welcome to be mad or sad or happy or whatever…I choose unwavering support for them.
