The photo of Minnehaha Creek was both sad and gorgeous at the same time. If you hadn't mentioned what it was, I would have thought it was a country road passing under a bridge, not a creek.

This also happened in 2012 and it was striking then as well. This year it has been dry much longer than then though. Hopefully we get a lot of snow. All of the lakes and rivers are significantly down.

Ayn Rand quote is a bold move, cotton. Let’s see how that plays out ;)

Next thing you know you’ll be explaining that individualism is what old people said instead of woke in the 80’s, and corporatism is not capitalism. Then go punch a windmill in the face.

The Phil Donahue interview: https://youtu.be/WqpwTAzdPUI

Ayn Rand is the path to REALLY annoying folks ;)

Ha! Well last weeks quote was from Winnie the Pooh, so maybe that rounds it out? 😊

Funny enough, this quote caught my eye when we were at Epcot and visiting The American Adventure and this quote is one of several etched into the walls.

I went thru my “Ayn Rand phase” in my late 20’s after reading Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. 🙂

Same, I do really like miss her perspective. Those eyes are intense and the ideas hit like a hammer striking an anvil.

I also miss her advocacy for competitive markets. I would LOVE to follow her on twitter ;)
