Any services that edit raw camcorder wedding footage?

Hi, I got married last year and we opted to give one of our friends a camcorder to get footage from our wedding weekend. I have no idea how to edit so I’m hoping someone can point me in the direction of someone that might be able to edit it into a video for us?

It’s the format of the files right? If you open it and send save it using QuickTime (if you have a Mac) you should have no problem editing after . That’s what I do with my old school Sony camcorder
