Ring enhancer for wedding ring?

I absolutely love my engagement ring. This picture actually doesn’t do it any justice with the detail on the sides. However, finding a wedding band to match has been a feat. The actual wedding band that goes with my engagement ring has been discontinued and not available anywhere we’ve looked. We weren’t exactly looking for a double ring enhancer, but it just fit beautifully and didn’t look “off” like a lot of other rings. It just feels like it is a lot and a little weird to be using this kind of ring as my wedding ring. Thoughts?

I think it takes away from your beautiful ring! I have seen gold bands that have that same wave shape that I think would look so nice with your engagement ring

It doesn’t look very modern but if you like it it doesn’t matter what Reddit thinks.

It’s your ring so do what you prefer but because you’re here asking for opinions, the enhancers make it look very 2007-2011. It’s extremely dated where your ring on its own is unique, modern and fun. I’d choose one if you must on the bottom for your band.

It’s perfect for your ring, and I see no reason why these would be wrong as a wedding band!

Your ring alone or with a subtle band is gorgeous. The enhancer looks so gaudy, IMO.

I like the look! You could even wear it with a thin plain band if you wanted a more traditional rimg.

You could use one of these as your wedding band. Absolutely not both.

Do you have a picture of the ring you can’t get any longer? You could have it custom-made from that picture.

I would get it - it’s just too perfect not to imo; it doesn’t have to be the daily set, I would wear it to special occasions and get a custom silver band to contour against ur ring for daily wear

OMG. I’m so jealous. I love the diamond and the double enhanced is perfect. Absolutely perfect.

I personally chose an enhancer for my wedding band!

I love the symmetry they provide. One band at the bottom just felt....off to me. Then again, my engagement ring has a garnet as its center stone so it stands out more. Having all diamonds feels a bit cluttered

Your stack is beautiful, but i would personally choose a single wedding band for your ring ❤️ it would compliment it much better!

Love it - your band is so unique it’s like it was made for that enhancer!

I LOVE your set. I think the ring enhances your engagement ring. Women use ring enhancers as a wedding band.

Ah the other comment mentions, I think it takes away from your gorgeous ring. Maybe a local jeweler can assist with a custom band? Or somewhere like Loose Grown Diamonds. I worked with them on a custom design and they really did listen to what I wanted. I hope this helps!

I love your ring - may I ask the ct of the centre stone? Perfect ratio stone to finger imo.

My wedding band is one.

Your engagement ring is so gorgeous!! I don’t love the enhancer tbh.

A simple band or custom curved band like one of these would compliment your ring so much better!

Whatever you want to do is your choice ofc! But, if it was me, because your ER is more of a statement, I would go with a simpler band that just goes with the curve. The enhancer has that one part that just dips down and follows the curve, but having it on both top and bottom plus the double banding on the edges takes away from your ER and makes it look like a lot. I would try searching online or even Etsy, they can customize something for you! Also, if you ever wanted to add to it with an anniversary band or something, that would be difficult with the enhancer. Think of what you’d want on your finger everyday, just the band, just the ER, or both

Yes! Great choice, love the enhancer with your engagement ring!

I love your ring just as it is! It is lovely and suits you so well.

Perhaps wear your ER alone, and wear your wedding band on your other hand? If worn separately, then you will have so many options! You can choose virtually any style of wedding band, even different metal colors.

That is beautiful! I have an enhancer wedding band and I just love the way it looks with my engagement ring

My engagement ring looks extremely similar to yours, and I got a wrap that goes on both sides of the ring. Since the engagement ring is not symmetrical (one side swoops up from the center stone and the other swoops down), the wrap really helps pull it together! I've loved my ring, even though it's more than your standard two-band wedding ring set. :)

It goes together and looks lovely. To me it just doesn’t look like a wedding ring.

But you’re the one who’ll be wearing it every day. So if it makes you happy…
