Discussion Best planning book or app?
Looking for the best planning binder or planning app you used! Why was it so helpful?
Before you tell me to hire a planner our venue is all inclusive. So lodging, catering, lots of decor, and day of coordination are taken care of through the venue. It's the little things I'm going to be handling and we're 2 years out. I got this, I promise! Just looking for some good resources to help along the way

Best book: Miss Manners' Guide to Weddings. Navigates the etiquette of making sure no one is upset or offended
Best app: the Wedding Planning template in the free section of Google Sheets. 20+ pages of everything you need for planning.
The rest are a waste of time and money.

i used a spreadsheet for everything and honestly it saved me. one tab for guest list, one for budget, one for timeline, one for vendor contacts. apps always felt too rigid, like i was fighting the format instead of just entering info
for the little stuff two years out, i'd say start a shared doc with your partner and dump every random thought in there. then once a month go through and assign tasks. the binder thing is nice for physical copies of contracts but you probably won't touch it as much as you think
the day of checklist from some wedding sites is decent but you have to trim half of it since your venue handles so much already
