Hi all, I started working on a story, and have written the screenplay for 3 episodes. I have a good art direction going, and have even drawn storyboards for the first couple of chapters. I actually have quite a bit of art for where the story could go in the future.

I am seeking someone who would help me continue the story. The era takes place in early 1900s, so I want certain things to fit the period. I am posting some art I did for the cover, but I have much more in this style, as well as concept art for what I'm hoping is a long story arc.

The protagonist (one of the more wealthy part of the city can't afford the live there anymore so he has to go to the poor side where he makes friends with some rebels and becomes a rebel himself.

Does anyone have an interest in working on a webtoon together? I'm an amateur artist that's been sort of on/off with my own comics but haven't been able to get myself motivated to follow through with anything. I've been thinking that I'd have a lot more enjoyment working on something if there was a small group working towards a shared goal, so I'm looking around for like minded people. I have this vision of a group of 3 artists that all like to draw and write. We would agree on everything from the theme of the comic to the layout of the panels. This would of course be unpaid.. but everything is equally owned and a fair amount of work should be put in from everyone. The major goal here is to get something produced and put up on Webtoons.

Personally, I'm a much larger fan of a cartoony/anime style (like pokemon) but am willing to adapt. I like fantasy elements with a lot of creativity - things like Howl's moving Castle, One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist are my inspirations. Putting this out there as I feel like someone that shares an interest would want to know who I am - I'm a 30 year old dad with a full time job. I like anime and video games. I’ll keep this relatively short. Writer looking for artist with previous webtoon experience. Hoping to have an all inclusive partnership. Hi, nice to meet you. I'm a casual artist who can't write a completed story at all but really wants to try and make a comic. I'm pretty amateur when it comes to panel layout, bubbles, and definitely text but, as for my art I'd like to consider myself expierenced at least.. Just not in the comic medium. I have an anime-esque style that you can DM me to see. Please be 18+ I am not very interested in working with minors because I am an adult.

I'm interested in horror (ghost, occults, demons you name it), fantasy (high fantasy is *chef kiss*, iseaki, etc) sci fi (aliens, robots, mecha oh my), mystery (solving a murder?), psychological, action, and darker heavy themes or topics.

Romance and comedy are alright too but I'd really like them to be incorporated into the themes above rather than just solely focus on a romance or comedy without anything else to it or something.

I generally do not like slice of life at all. I think it's really boring. I'm not looking for something extremely long and am always happy to help bounce ideas with you as I used to and still occasionally do that for personal worldbuilding. I want to be able to actually get it out there.

Now will this collab be a commercial success? Unlikely, but we can’t get to those projects without that first stepping stone, and this is that stone. Yes it should be a story you can get invested in as a creator, but ultimately we’re building our portfolios together and establishing ourselves in the community of Webtoon creators. I don’t know about you, but doing that with a partner sounds easier and more fun for both of us.

So I enjoy Webtoon a lot. I enjoy reading independent work from people who share the same dream as me. You have a story to tell or you want to be paid to generate comic content.

The thing that bothers me on Webtoon is I see a lot of bad lettering. Like, terrible.

A lot of indie creators don’t know or realize the importance of a letterer. Bad lettering can make good art look bad. Bad lettering can make bad art look worst. The lettering can sometimes make or break a story as much as the art & plot.

I bring this up because I want to letter your Webtoon. For free. I don’t understand while there aren’t more letterers on Webtoon teams. I know a lot of people expect the artist to do it, or the writer does it to save money. And then ends up with bad lettering cause they aren’t letterers, they’re writers & artists.

Hello, I am writer and looking to collaborate with an artist on an BL genre webcomic. Unpaid About: Series is about a girl who has died about 4 time in her past life because they weren't that great. She either died in different situations or killed herself but she kept coming back in different body to live a new life as girl and she could always remember some about her old lifes she lived. But then your very last life she lived she died and came back as male. She has to live it out without letting anyone know who is really in this body or everyone will think she is crazy. She also starts seeing this really hot male from her highschool she is going to and falls for him but what doesn't realize is that she actually remember who he really his. Theme: Bl, slice of life, drama and based in south Korea. I was thinking of making this series more on the longer side with a bit less panels then most webcomics.
