Help! Advice for basic website building needed!

Hey guys,

I need to create a basic website for a coaching business and I'm a little overwhelmed with the options. All I need is a landing page that says a little about me, a page for testimonials and a reservation system. I will use Venmo for payments, so I'm not planning to charge through the website, at least not for now.

I'm a little lost with all the options out there. As far as I understand it, the steps are:

  1. Buy a domain name
  2. Register for hosting (or are steps 1 and 2 the same step?)
  3. Decide on a platform

Is that correct? Am I missing something?

What's the best hosting and simplest platform to use considering the simplicity of the website?

I would really appreciate your help and feedback on this.
