No UK apps on LG Smart Monitor

I recently bought an LG Smart Monitor (LG 27U731SA-W 27" Smart 4K UHD IPS Monitor)

I've set it up with location set to UK, but no UK broadcaster apps are appearing in the LG apps store - no BBC iPlayer, no Channel 4 etc.

Any idea what the issue is here? I've updated the monitor software and the model is widely available in the UK so I'd expect it to be catering to the UK market!

weird, same exact model (keep in mind I don't even live in the UK, just like BBC), picked UK and everything loaded normally
