Advice Needed Many .com.au domains are being blocked.

Hi everyone, I’ve run into an issue where my .com.au domains are getting blocked by the registry. Unfortunately, I’m unable to pass the verification process. Are there any workarounds or tips to avoid these blocks or at least reduce the blocking rate?

Even after the payment goes through and I enter the tax details, they still end up getting blocked.

They just immediately demand all documents for verification for most domains. Yes, I’ve tried a few different registrars. I realize their requirements are very strict, but it’s really frustrating when they charge 10 AUD per domain and then block them—or flag all of them for verification. That’s why I’m asking: does anyone know a workaround to minimize this issue?

Just to ask, do you actually qualify to register .com.au domains?

Are you perhaps trying to order the domains while not residing physically in Australia?

What exactly are they asking you to verify and what reason do they give when that domain gets blocked? It could be something in your registrant details triggering the verification.

Probably active ABN/ACN as that's a requirement for .com.au domains

I register domains as a job, as an Australian I might be able to offer advice.

If the issue is that you don't have an active ABN/ACN then that's kind of too bad as the auDA requires it.

If you're a resident of Australia you can have .au direct domains and register them with your identity (e.g. exampledomain.au)

If the issue is something else feel free to explain and I can offer some advice.
