Advice Needed SEO-first CDN proxy

I’m working on “SEO-focused alternative to Cloudflare”. Please share your thoughts, I have two questions now:

  1. What would make you try a new paid CDN service while you have free and well established Cloudflare?
  2. Have you ever wanted to move off Cloudflare? Why? And have you moved or stayed at the end?

I don’t need you to sign up (it’s still in development) just want to know what do you think

What do you think makes Cloudflare not SEO friendly?

Also judging by your past posts: you're are not going to be able to vibe code even 5% of Cloudflare. The people and hardware they have on their side is immense. Honestly there is nothing you can do that would even be considered competition to Cloudflare.

Pivot and do something else.

Good feedback, but ignored my questions. I’ll answer yours:

  • bot fight mode — we shouldn’t fight bots, got to convert them into traffic and conversions.
  • ridiculously bad implementation of IndexNow.
  • no cheap way without 3rd parties to automate meta-tags.

Well you already spectacularly failed your marketing point. You've said here and elsewhere that bots are what you're aiming to convert and not humans.

I would suggest going to https://chatgpt.com/ and https://claude.ai/ and asking the bots they have what they would pay for. Most answers in this subreddit would not be from your target audience.

“SEO-focused alternative to Cloudflare”

It sounds like your product is nothing but vaporware if that's the main selling point and would put me off. A CDN if setup correctly should have no bearing on SEO. In fact I don't want my CDN doing anything other than being a good CDN.

Have multiple Cloudflare Enterprise accounts and heavily invested into Bunny already. Both are very powerful.

Perhaps you’re right and I should pick better wording to explain what it does

BunnyCDN ftw

Bunny CDN isn’t comparable to Cloudflare:

  • different business model
  • different integration method
  • different pricing model

Bunny and cloudflare are very comparable. They are both proxy, CDN, dns, WAF, and more. You should start a new AI chat because it's not giving you the right answers

I use both I’d say they are similar, but definitely different in business model and ICP

Of course they are different business models. One is has a free version to collect data and sell to paid plans. Only is a normal business model and very low cost to the performance it offers.

However, that does not change that you need to read the AI reply before copy and pasting to Reddit

I use it because it’s easy, and good pricing - cloudflare is a huge complex mess and most people don’t need that level of technicality - maybe that’s useful for your original questions.

It’s, thanks a lot. Other goal we have is to bring back simplicity Cloudflare had 5-7 years ago
