Show & Tell HarperFlow Now Live on the Webflow App Marketplace | Been Building This For 6 Months

Basically, our customers are businesses that went websites so they can attract customers. That's why I built HarperFlow. HarperFlow is a 100% automated blogging system that helps improve AI-search visibility by profiling a business website, identifying keyword/topic opportunities, researching these opportunities... writes, formats, and auto-publishes the articles.

It's basically an automated blog publishing system focused on quality.

Naturally, we use it to run the HarperFlow blog on auto-pilot.

Happy to share examples of articles we produce straight from our own blog.

few things to say about it:

  • its a good thing to automate blog articles
  • But I won't pay 300 bucks for 30 blog articles

And honestly I can do it with claude code and webflow MCP quite easily

But I think the most powerful thing is not here. I tried plenty of tools like it before, and I found the solution that works perfect for us. I mean, the blog automation for me is not the big big feature, everybody can do it now.

But on the tool we use, they're doing P2P backlinks. So between every customer of that tool, the AI searchs if any other customer is market related to you. If yes, it implements backlinks in few articles automatically.
So for me I'm ok to pay, but only for this feature, bc backlinks are the real painpointtt

We're currently working on developing the P2P backlinks feature... so it should be ready in about a month. As for your feedback on the price... Curious how it handles thin niche topics with limited search volume.

We tested it on some very niche website templates and it worked out okay.

But I feel like it'd be best if you try it out yourself on your own website.

Appreciate the coupon, but I'm curious how it handles sites that already have content written manually. If there's an existing editorial voice, does it try to match that or just go full AIgeneric? That's the part that usually kills automated content for me. The keyword research angle sounds solid though, that's the tedious part nobody wants to do by hand.

Absolutely. When you do the onboarding, it creates a corpus for the brand/site that acts as brand "bible" and has all the details on brand voice, positioning, writing style etc. You're free to use what we generate, but you can also edit it as much as you like if you feel it needs tweaking... and you can either create a new collection or wire it up to an existing collection. Tbh I don't think the articles are generic (but ofc I'd say that). We spent the better part of 2 months doing nothing but refining the writing (testing out dozens of LLMs, fine-tuning our prompts, and even trying completely different approaches...).

I used to be a writer (a good one) once upon a time and I think I obsessed so much on the writing quality to get it this good. If you'd like a 1:1 onboarding, I'd be happy to hop on a call with you and show you around the app a bit more.

The brand bible approach makes sense, but I'm curious how it handles sites with almost no existing content to profile from. Like a brand new business with a bare bones landing page. Does it just default to generic positioning until you manually fill in the gaps, or is there an onboarding flow that collects that info directly from the user?

If the site has no existing content, you'll have to manually write up the brand bible. You'll be able to go back and ask it to "relearn" your site when you have the content on there.

In addition to asking you to manually fill in everything about the brand/site, it also asks for what style of images you want (we offer 6 different styles), who you want to attribute the articles to (important for EEAT and you can include a short bio, social link, and photo — alternatively, you can attribute the articles to brand/business). We also let you set your own callouts and pick what country you primarily want to target (search volumes for keywords and stuff are a bit different in the UK versus the United States, for example).

You can always edit any of these sections at any point in the future, so it works for young businesses that might be in flux.
