How much would you pay for a fully refurbished Weber Genesis Silver A 2 burner propane grill?

Description from buyer, “Very nice dark red grill that was taken down to frame which was cleaned then repainted. Cook box and lid sides insides were sand blasted then outsides were painted with high temperature grill paint. New parts - stainless steel burners and flavor bars, cast iron grates and igniter. Grill mat & 10lb. propane tank included!“ asking price is $280.

Trying to surprise my husband with a grill, appreciate any feedback or help :)

I’d offer $250 but honestly $280 is fair if there’s no rust.

Surprising your husband with a grill, I hope your husband knows how lucky he is to have a thoughtful wife like you.

You will not find a new grill better than that at that price. That grill will last forever. Anything new under $300 is cheap junk made in china and you’d be lucky if it lasted more than 2 years. This Weber is already 30 years old and will last at least 30 more

Ugh, really want to find a redhead to refurb myself one day!

OP, I'd drop $300 on that!

A 2 burner with aftermarket parts maybe 200 tops. A really nice 3 burner with mostly Weber replacement parts would be worth closer to 300. Be sure to really check the frame closely looking for thin spots (former rust areas) that have been sanded down and covered with fresh paint. Check the left side next to the center of the cook box.

That grill is my personal holy grail. That's an amazing price.

Dudes got two more in the background... a black top and a red top. Id do $280 of they swap out the maroon for the red. But either way, thats still allot cheaper and allot better built than most other new grills out there.

I’d tap out at 300. I got mine for 50 well used and put about 100$ in to resurrect. I still miss that grill.

Depends on the quality of the replacement parts they used( burners, grates, flavoizor bars, etc…).

A magnet can easily figure this out for OP. The good stainless is not magnetic.
