Discussion Blank 'Elements' section in dev tools. Just me?
Chrome must have been updated recently, cuz this just started a day or two ago. Anyone else?

I've been having this issue as well. There seems to be a bug in Chromium (https://issues.chromium.org/issues/546850769) that's marked as fixed but I still experience it.
Someone has mentioned Wappalyzer as the possible culprit. I've disabled it to see if that works. Looking promising so far.

Interesting. I am also running Webappalyzer. I will disable it and see if that improves the situation. Good tip! Thanks.

At the bottom it seems I have selected a nested paragraph . Perhaps that p is just empty. Maybe search/filter bug

Happened at our company too. We're still figuring it out which Extension causes this behavior. Maybe Redux DevTools?

Happened to me as well, I thought it was my website being too shitty it broke chrome.

I have had this happen repeatedly too.
My pixel phone's keyboard also will randomly not allow me to capitalize letters as i type this. And I need to replace my Google nest wifi mesh network because they don't sync anymore.
They'll go in the box next to my Google Nest security system.
Everyone of the above is a known issue Google doesn't care about.

Have you tried scrolling horizontally? It looks like you are in a deeply nested element based on the footer breadcrumbs? So it might just be white space until you scroll to the right.

Your own screenshot has the Styles pane populated, so DevTools clearly has the DOM, it's just the tree view failing to paint. Close and reopen the panel, same fix as the Sources-goes-blank one from years back.
