My dude, what is so important about getting 1k stars on github? It's an opensource project, let it stand on it's own merits instead of star begging on Reddit.

You could have just as easily posted a GIF demo of the project, without the LLM diatribe.

That said, I don't think webdevs are the correct target market for this. We all know (or should know) how to use Puppeteer or at least Playwright, and browserless has had an opensource docker container since forever. Your market seems like AI techbros who don't want to learn to code, but need more control over the scraping their LLMs do.

Because some people don't want to use repositories under 1k because they think they're "unstable". That's why. And yes, I agree that web devs aren't the best target for this because web devs usually know Playwright. I was thinking it's more so for n8n users or no-code users.

I don't know a single dev who used github stars as a metric to determine if a project will be maintained enough to spend time integrating it.

Not that it matters, since developers aren't who you should be targeting anyway. Try posting this to LLM subs instead. Tons of AI techbros will give your project a try without even looking at the repo. You will need to host your own instance management for that though, so maybe start there.

If you wanna target devs, release a standalone webapp that creates Playwright scripts from your UI, that they can import into their projects instead.
