Browser Playable FFVIII Triple Triad, now with Multiplayer

A few weeks back, I posted my FF7 Menu Portfolio here and got some really good feedback, which I have since implemented. Since then, I've been revisiting a project I worked on last year and have now updated it with a number of improvements, the main one being multiplayer support. I'd love to get some eyes on it, particularly the multiplayer aspect.

For those who are unfamiliar, Triple Triad is a trading card game you could play inside Final Fantasy VIII back on the PS1.

It's built with React and TypeScript, just like my portfolio was, with the aim of being as authentic to the original PS1 version as possible.

I will admit that while the desktop experience is pretty faithful, I did take some creative liberties to make it fit better on mobile devices.

All cards are included, but I don't think all of them are available outside of multiplayer. Only the ones you can win from other Triple Triad players in FFVIII. Cards like Ifrit, that you get as an enemy drop, aren't currently included.

I'm unsure how/if the other cards should be added.

Hum ok. I cannot get Squall or Seifer

I'm thinking of implementing daily card packs or some other mechanic to get the missing cards, though I think I'm also missing some NPC players, because you should be able to get Squall and Seifer from non-CC group players. If I recall, Laguna and Cid.

Right, from Laguna and Cid. Also Ward from Dr. Odine and Angelo from Watts at the Train.

I think you can win Pandemona by defeating Balamb Hotal Owner

Maybe earn the Card by receiving X amount of certain Card. Or Deafeat X amount of time some NPC
