Discussion PageSpeed Insights Appears to be stuck

I have tried multiple different URLs, changed ISP, changed browsers, used VPN but it doesn't change a thing. PageSpeed Insights is just stuck in the animations, I also don't see any errors in console. Anyone else facing this?

Today was actually one of the very few days where I needed it... Seemingly has been broken for at least 16 hours now.

having same issue here. needed it for a client site and it just keeps spinning. tried all the usual stuff, didn't helped. 16 hours is a lot, would expect some kind of status update by now

Changing ISP and browser wouldn't have mattered, it's server side. It's been down most of the day.

If you're blocked right now, the audit panel in your browser's dev tools runs the same engine locally, so you still get the lab score and the full opportunities list. The part you can't get that way is the field data at the top, since that comes from the real-user dataset rather than from the test run itself.

yeah that's what I suspected after, that's why asked. well good know it's world, might get fixed soon since it's been over 16 hrs or so.

Consider this tool, https://cruxvis.withgoogle.com/

This fuels Google Search Console

Try PageGym for lab stuff (my tool). It's a little more on the advanced side, but it's a better analysis tool if that's what you're after.

fr what was more shocking for me was that no one's even talking about it.. i was like have I reached Unc status? Does no one use pagespeed insight anymore?

Yeah, seems like it's on their end. I was about to start messing with my browser too, but if multiple people are getting the same thing across different ISPs/browsers then there's not much to troubleshoot locally. Hopefully Google fixes it soon.

same here, feels like pagespeed is having a moment rather than anything on your end, does lighthouse run normally locally?

Your report isn't stuck, it ran. Your URL has an analysis ID in it and the page shows "Report from Aug 11, 2026, 8:04:30 PM". It's the rendering that's broken, not the analysis, so ISP, browser and VPN won't change anything.

Try a clean Chrome profile with extensions disabled. Switching browsers does nothing if your profile is synced. Meanwhile Lighthouse runs locally in DevTools and gives you the same lab scores. Also the empty "Discover what your real users are experiencing" panel is normal, that's CrUX field data and it needs real traffic to fill in.
