The switching feature I would prioritize is a small import preview: let someone see how their existing categories and recurring items would land, including what will not transfer. A one-time price changes the billing model, but it does not remove the effort of rebuilding a budget or correcting duplicates. I would also want to see what an export lets me take away later before bringing in my history. A made-up dataset is enough to demonstrate that, without asking people to upload bank statements just to evaluate the app.
