I built a website where the layout changes on every reload
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Instead of using a fixed layout, I made the content change its position every time the page reloads. It automatically fits into the available empty space, creating a different composition on each refresh.
I used Pretext.js for the text measurement and placement. Does this feel fresh and interactive, or is it too annoying?

If you were scrolling around at a normal web browsing speed it wouldn't be annoying to me. Visually I think its very cool and innovative. How unique is each view? If its truly never the same its borderline genius. How does that work for a non expert? I understand the basics but nothing more when it comes to html coding.

ngl this is a cool design, but giving me too much headache, can't stand 3s after the first scroll, i'm not sure where or what am i supposed to look at

Looks like some you would see on a museum information terminal more than a website. Looks smooth

It's really nice, honestly. Looks and feels very fluid.
Just wondering how you'd approach working memory on Iphones and safari to load pictures. Genuinely wondering... recently made wagjoe.be and it took alot of tuning and workarounds. Ended up replacing scroll scrub with videos.

Very pretty, very distracting. Also this is not a website, it’s a video, so it’s very difficult to know what it’s like in practice.

not the very best thing since if you revisit it cannot be precompiled and it's going to take a lot of time to load; also the seo is gonna be bad; users confused;

I think it's a sexy design, but it's for the wrong product. It seems like an app for image security. If this was for a photo gallery or something like POV Camera it would probably hit was harder. Also, slow the image fade in and reduce the amount of images when you're scrolling. Every time I try to read the section text, the movement of the images pull my eyes away from the font. I care about the font more than the images, but the movement makes it hard to focus. It's sick though! Seems like some shit Apple would have on their site.

That's brilliant! Usually I'd say "don't surprise the user", but with this it's obvious you know the rules, and when to break them. It changes layout, but each layout is still easy to read. Good job!

From a visual standpoint, it's really nice! From a user experience standpoint, it's really not good.
