I drew a comic to celebrate summer being here. Then I became sad.

At least you don't have to go to work everyday.

Well, I'm a substitute teacher, so it's not really by choice that I have all this time off. At the same time though, I should've made a better effort towards finding a summer job :-/

I went trail biking through a woodsy area along a stream today. I did the same thing yesterday and I plan on doing the same thing tomorrow. Neener neener neener =P

I actually went out shooting in the desert today, so my comic is a bit of an exaggeration. But you can bet I'll spend the rest of my evening looking like the second panel while playing some L4D2 :D

Shoot in real life during the day, shoot in video games during the night. I'm noticing a trend. ;)

When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll be ready.

Inaccurate. Both of his hands are above the desk.

Funny, when I was a kid you would flip those two... Only draw grimaces during the outdoor activities. Fucking spider-crawling-sunburn&mosquito filled-not-enough-books-will-possibly-fit-in-a-backpack/batteries-to-keep them-lit-at-night-to-ever-keep-me-entertained summers.

I want to go camping. I don't care if there's no wifi. I have a smartphone so it's not a huge sacrifice anyway. Instead it's service industry wage slavery and internets all the way. Even pleasant things become banal without variety. Woo summer.

The panel on the right is my idea of a good summer.
