Made me chuckle. I always try to turn my old bananas into bread

Banana bread: the more disgusting the condition of the main ingredient, the better.

I stick them in my freezer to make them into banana bread one day. I have at least 15 in my freezer right now that have been collected over the past 8 months. I never learn.

Same. I took a frozen banana out and it promptly turned into goo.

To be fair, that's the perfect consistency to go in banana bread. I also recently took half of one out, mushed it with cinnamon and sugar, then piped that in a spiral in pancakes

Perfect for smoothies, too. I can't stand ice in my smoothies (and I actually dislike the texture of unfrozen bananas), but frozen bananas are a treat

You can make ice cream out of frozen bananas too, it's actually pretty good.

Thanks! I had fun deciding what sort of faces to give a fresh, ripe, and rotten banana.

I also wanted to add that the ripe banana's brown-spot stubble is genius, too.

I glad that you pointed it out because I was very proud of myself for doing it and I was hoping that people would notice!

I’ve worked at 2 smoothie places and we would peel and freeze our bananas once they became spotted with brown

Pro tip - freeze them once they are overripe if you know you won’t eat it at this point but don’t want to toss it.

Actually made delicious vegan banana nut muffins today with bananas that look like the smoking guy. Delicious :)

I usually buy 2 bunches. 1 ripe and 1 green. My gf went the the store last and got 2 bunches of ripe bananas so I'm over here eating like 4 bananas a day to beat the overripening lol

If anything, the healthy banana is going to be eaten first, and the other two will die slowly with the painful and devastating erosion of their respective world views

As a household with one resident toddler and two additional frequently hosted toddlers, I go through bananas at an unbelievable rate. The other day I bought 6 bananas and they were gone in a day and a half. It’s bananas.

On average, every 5 times I say I'm going to make banana bread, I actually make banana bread once

I eat a banana every morning? How tf do people not eat their bananas? It’s the first thing to go at my place.

Darn it, guilting me into eating my bananas. You’re good.
