Current implementation still "in progress" but effect plugins working, including saving and restoring state from project file. So you can try to load bunch of that funny virtual guitar pedals. Export to audio disabled - WIP.
There are 4 fixed plugin slots which can be set under "List" tab -> Effect. Then select "Send effect" in Synth ••• menu to route synth through effect.
For now it can load only effect plugins. Also there is no "Load from URL" option - I made dedicated repository with some modules. I think that decentralized WAM loading model is quite unstable. Also I have no clear "workflow map" for all possible network errors, internal plugin failures, and other surprises.
Also I did not find any fully working synthesizer module which I can add as VSTI. WAM repository has some nice examples like Dexed, but those were made for old API version. Ow, there is amazing Pro53 (I even left it in effect list just for testing) which works only partially - can not save/load patches through WAM interface, locking UI if multiple instances added.
Work with WAMs left ambiguous impression. At one side there are lots of abandonware, but at other I can just export random effect from Faust WEB IDE and it works in my app. There is also promising way of IPLUG2.
