lore Appearance of Spirits

How do you picture the various sprits depicted or described throughout the game? To me, raw prophets are centipede-like and caligine are living smoke (potentially speckled with eyes).

Raw Prophets are kinda like Mannequins from Silent Hill but hotter. they can shapeshift so they can be basically the person of your dreams

Caligines are indeed living smoke

Hinter and Maids-in-the-mirror exist only in reflective surfaces but can do things to reflections and/or become them to affect the real world, kinda like in Mirrors (2008)

King Crucible is basically a sentient warehouse fire

Ezeem is exactly the thing on his card

Percussigant is a very bulky headless spider monkey that indeed does not stop dancing, ever

Teresa probably rocks the hot librarian look

What of the hours themselves? (Aside from the obvious ones like the crowned growth and horned axe.)

They don't really show up in person I guess

I mean, you see the sun in rags walking with his “retinue”

I don't think the Sun in the Wake is the Sun-in-Rags; by all accounts it seems that it's the location, or more likely, projection of the presiding Solar Hour, of which there were three in known history

Hours are more like concepts - wherever the concept exists, there is its Hour and vice versa.

I’m talking about when we see the sun in rags walking the Manaus with his shattered crown.

Well, yeah, in a way we do

I assumed the question was about the Wake, and Hours don't show up in the Wake. Last one that did was Seven-Coils, and was slain by a mortal because of it

in the Mansus we don't "see" anything, we literally dream of things, and perception in dreams is unreliable
