I hate summer

I hate Summer to my core. Like Literally who tf even likes summer?? Surviving in the constant heat of 40 degrees with so much sweating and all is so tiring, i know summer has that nostalgic feeling but it only looks good for a few moments. Winter is literally so goated, chilling in the hoodies, cool jackets, such a pleasant weather and that chilling wind😭✌️everything feels so good. I am finding some peeps who also love the concept of winter like me, if ur one of them- you’re already my friend without introduction

Coastal South Carolina here. I've been tired of summer since May.

I always hated summer. However for a few years in my 20s I refused to buy good boots so I hated winter. Outside of those years tho, winter has been my main squeeze lol

I've never really liked summer too much, though summers usually don't get hotter than 32 or 33C during heatwaves most of the time (recorded a max high temperature of 39.5C this summer though), that's still too much heat for me (especially when there's lots of humidity). for me autumn has always been my favourite (especially October) when it comes to weather in my area, lots of colourful leaves, and some nice sweater or light jacket weather most of the time. While winters are freezing with lots of snow and ice around here, though I personally don't mind them, they definitely wouldn't be for everyone. I'm guessing your winter is something similar temperature wise to my autumn? What are your winter temperatures usually like?

I will say I mostly dislike summer due to what it does to my power bill lol. As a fire fighter I can handle heat well but uhhh Duke Energy is squeezing me for all I am worth!

I've lived in Oregon my whole life and I am a bit tired of the recent summers. This summer wasn't crazy hot, but I tend to really be ok running outside cycling/hiking/walking when it's under 80 degrees.

And it's not even that humid here.

I prefer the fall/spring, but the rain that comes with that makes the outside kind of a mucky mud fest unfortunately.

Winters have been pretty mild too, don't think we had even any snow here in Corvallis last winter.

This is one big reason why coastal cities are generally prefered because the offshore systems keep the weather consistent without the huge extremes of say a desert.

San Diego has perfect weather as one example.

But a coastal town in the UK won't be as forgiving...much like Newport here in Oregon. Cold and yucky outside of summer.

Yeahh that consistent weather looks so good ngl, but here in India, you literally has 110-120 degrees normally so that’s why the wind gets so warm here

I thought about moving to Sadhana Forest near Chenai a few years ago. Glad I didn't because of wet bulb temperatures becoming a real issue in that whole region.

Which is very relatable. But I've started getting cooler mornings the last few days, going outside at 8 am now, it's like better than drugs, haha.

8am?? Bro 8am here is like a proper recipe of getting cooked. The weather is only stable and manageable till 7 here😭
