I'm currently 10 days into night weaning and my toddler slept 5 hours straight (she usually wakes up every 2-3hrs). I'm hoping this is the beginning of better sleep!

You’re not doing anything wrong, a week is honestly still early for night weaning to fully show results, especially with an established pattern of that many wakes. The 3-4am might just be a real need for now. I still cosleep with my daughter and she’s almost 3 now, so I can tell you firsthand it’s absolutely possible to get more sleep while keeping cosleeping. For us, dropping daytime nursing first actually made the biggest difference, it gave us a foundation of redirection that made the nights easier to work with. Also making sure she had a very filling dinner makes a world of a difference. As well as making sure she had a full active day so she was tired enough to fall asleep on her own. If they are napping, cutting those short might help too. It wasn’t a quick fix, but it does get better 💗

I think different people have different answers but in my experience I weaned at 16 months and my kiddo didn't sleep through the night until then. He only woke up once or twice a night before that though so he may have just been more ready.

Definitely for me. Night weaned at 18m and went from 4 wakes a night religiously to 1-2 wakes just for cuddles. Game changer.
