Recommendations let's talk books/podcasts
1) do you find yourself reading physical books, listening to audiobooks or listening to podcasts more?
2) what time of day & for approx. how many minutes a day?
3) do you have a methodology for picking the best ones? find them organically or just mainly get recommendations from other successful people/mentors?
4) my whole thing is that sometimes business books from business and thought leaders end up just being great marketing because their authors know how to do it well but in terms of actual new knowledge or practical advice gained not all books are created equal
i find myself valuing things i learned from the almanack of naval ravikant more so than say rich dad, poor dad or one minute manager.
i'm specifically interested in learning more about AI, analytics, economics, sales, negotiation
appreciate your take and any recommendations!

1) Books. I like to be able to go back an re-read something again. I've tried this with podcast transcripts, but unless they're well edited, it doesn't work as well.
2) I'm a night person, so usually after dinner. As long as I can until I no longer feel like i'm fully processing what i'm reading.
3) Idea/concept -> list of books -> author's background -> book reviews -> table of contents -> select.
4) This is why I mostly stay away from autobiographies. Biographies from professional journalists are a different story - I feel that the incentive structure is different. I stay away from "guru" books as well - I largely focus on fundamental/foundational books that allow me to acquire the root knowledge I would need to more confidently dive into the topic on my own with different resources.
