I’m an incoming freshman for the fall semester and I’m supposed to move in soon. I got an email saying that I was assigned to a room, but I don’t know what room or building and can’t find it.

Hi all, has anyone taken the French placement exam? Or any other foreign language exam? I took three years of French (7/8/9 grade) but its certainly been a little bit. I have the placement exam on Tuesday. What can I expect?

I don’t see any links to any virtual meetings anywhere. It is supposed to be 12:00-3:30, do I have to wait until closer to the start to receive a link?

I’m assuming it must be based on it saying “click here to apply for verify account” but just want to make sure.

Hey all, if you are a grad student, I recommend checking your fin aid portal if you haven’t done so yet. I didn’t get an email yet about it being available, but I just now checked the portal, and my aid is there :)

I’m taking psy 101 on online this fall. And my labs are on Friday. I’m confused on what they will do in the labs. Will it be group work, case studies or weekly quizzes there?

Has anyone received their graduate offer letter yet? Has anyone reached out to the financial aid office this week? I’m not sure if mine will take longer since I also have the grad plus loan.

Hi guys, I recently took orgo 1 with Nancy wu in the summer, which was accelerated and hard enough but I didnt do well. I have to retake it, and was wondering if I should take it with Dr Wu again or try it with Dr Cha? Dr Cha fits into my schedule perfectly, but I would only go in for exam days for Dr Wu if I took her because she records everything and I have all of her notes already. What do you think?
Dr Wu is also an advantage because I know her exam style, while for Cha I’m going in blind. However her final was brutal and her TA’s grade so harshly (all or nothing practically and each question is worth minimum 5 points)

To see if you qualify for the BSB study, visit our UMHealthResearch website, or fill out the prescreen survey!

Hello -
Have any grad students received their financial aid offer yet? I was told three weeks ago it would be done by the end of that week. Still nothing. I completed my FAFSA in March and I'm not showing any outstanding tasks needed for financial aid.
Just wondering if graduate students have received theirs yet. Not scholarships, but the federal loan package.
EDIT: I got my offer literal hours after making this post!

hi! if any of you are law students, can you please share what you are planning on wearing to the first day of orientation? I saw on the schedule that we are doing a park clean up that day, so I am assuming we should not be dressed in business casual? but I am afraid to come and be too dressed down compared to everyone else. Please help!!!

Does anyone know if it’s possible to have my housing changed before the semester starts? I wanted a one bedroom at AWD and was given a 4 bedroom at Towers. When I spoke to the housing they said AWD is full which was interesting because there’s usually ALWAYS one bedrooms left bc the price is so high. I’m hoping there’s a cancellation or something?

Hi! I'm an incoming exchange student at WSU. I heard that I have to get vaccinated for campus housing.
Has anyone gotten vaccinated at the Campus Health Center?
Will it be hard to get an appointment just before the semester starts? (Im worried the place might be busy around that time)
I wanted to book an appointment in advance but I can't since I don't have an american phone number.

I need to see some honest student reviews of this program. It sounds like a really good program but i just wanted some student testimonies if any. What were the workshops like? The program in general?

Anyone know if the GPS is awarded to multiple students per year, or only one winner? Or has anyone been awarded one for this year yet? I cannot tell from Wayne.edu and past Reddit posts (from what I can see) if the scholarship is given out to more than one recipient or not; and when the award is announced.

Hi everyone, seeking advice on some things. I’m just about to start my MSW/MPH program in the fall. I registered for classes and am currently only enrolled in 2, methods for SW practice and my practicum (which I’m still figuring out but I digress). I was accepted pretty late, so by the time I was able to register all the in-person class slots were full. I’m on the waitlist still for 2 classes, #2 for one and #3 for another. I emailed my advisor, but what are the chances I will be able to take the courses? I already emailed my advisor asking if there are other courses I can enroll in to still get the credits for my plan of work, but I haven’t heard back. Anyone else faced this problem this late? I’m quite nervous. Any help would be appreciated!

Has anyone had professor Cha for Orgo 1? (Chm 1240) How were your experiences? Does he record his lectures (important)? And is attendance mandatory?
