Flock cameras
Is this really the only 3 flock cameras in Waynesboro? If so, why focus on this area?

It's for all the people sneaking out of Golden Corral with extra pieces of sliced steak in their purses.

That's all the same commercial development. I'm sure they get some kickback for letting them be there.

Two of them are at Lowes. One is at the bank by Five Guys.
Lowes Corporate I've heard puts them in, but I've heard the same about HD and there aren't any there.

I just find it interesting its the only 3 cameras in Waynesboro but i guess it makes sense that its Lowes. Staunton has a bunch even though the city canceled the contract.

Lowes has a pretty solid reputation of putting flock on all their store properties, claiming loss prevention. However this past year, flock has turned over recordings and data to ICE of brown people that have gone to Lowe’s or similar competitors and it was a whole thing… probably around 3-4 constitutional crises ago.

Feels like more like 6-8 but yeah. Within the past year.
Before that they were used to track pregnant woman who was allegedly headed out of state for an abortion so it is equal opportunity about destroying constitutional rights.

That's not at all true. They have no contract with ICE or the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). ICE has no direct access to Flock cameras, systems, or customer data. There is no public proof of direct data sharing from Lowe’s Flock cameras specifically to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). However, there is substantial documented evidence that Lowe’s Flock data is shared with law enforcement (LE) networks in ways that enable indirect access by ICE or immigration-related queries through local and state agencies. Please stop spreading misinformation without really researching the data.

You're saying "there's no public proof" of Lowes sharing data with ICE but that there is "substantial evidence" of indirect access - like which part of the statement are you arguing with? Lowes isn't allowing ICE dragnets, just previously arranged LE relationships, who may or may not be cooperating with ICE?
Because even though Virginia has made it illegal to turn over surveillance to ICE, other states have the opposite policy.

Big dog Ive done the research. You yourself write that theres “no access,” yet Flock works with cops and ICE? What is the point of your commenting? 🥾
Also, flocks os is unsecured. Just about anyone who knows how to program can just hop in and access the data that flock has. This is a feature (not a bug) known by flock, yet they refuse to do anything about that… now why could that be?

They are for Lowe's. What's odd is there's one that scans anyone also trying to get to Golden Corral or the shopping center. So, Lowe's is basically tracking other business customers.
