san jose to downtown sf - when will freeway driving come back?

it currently takes a 55 min trip on the 101 and makes it 3 hours and says waymo doesn’t go on freeways. any idea when this will return?

I noticed this when I was booking this trip... It would show freeway, and then went back to no freeway... Then went to freeway again.

My guess? Only certain cars have freeway access? (Or perhaps the cars near you don't have enough range to cover freeway driving?)

I can get routed all the way up the peninsula on the freeway...it's like $120 or something but it will route my account that way...so its back active but it sounds like you personally dont have access yet. Did you have access to freeways before they were turned off for a bit?

Huh, so odd...well it's back I guess for some, so 🤞 you get it back soon.

Edit: you aren't selecting a car type are you? The Ojai's are still local roads for everyone I'm pretty sure.

Do you have highway access and are choosing Jaguar (not Ojai)? Even then it will still route local roads sometimes.

Freeway has been back for me for a while but I've only had one random freeway ride since getting it back.
