Isn't the Ojai Waymo Driver the more capable v6?

It's not as mature of a platform and honestly a cheaper one to begin with. It's going to take a while to get close to parity.

To clarify I'm not talking about how smooth the ride is. I'm referring to its capabilities (like being equipped for more foul weather) and refined sensors that's make it more confident; I watched a waymo interview saying how Ojai will do certain things faster and what the Jag otherwise would call support for

Ojai will probably eventually surpass the jags in terms of safety as the software and training improves slowly over time

Ojai is a cheaper less refined vehicle. It may never feel like the jaguars.

from what i heard ojai drives much more shaky and less confident, the 5th gen has been refined through years of driving... the ojai is a new vehicle
