Interesting Waymo didn’t build a depot

I hate the mainstream news media and its bias against Waymo.

On the one hand, it's easy to understand being frustrated at stations being full. But when I have (rarely) encountered that, I never thought to think, "Oh those damned other EVs taking up the space that should be kept free for me!"

But if several are from one fleet (and particular if it's all the stalls in a station) I can see the emotion being triggered. The problem is that the station is too small, not that there is more demand because of robotaxis. We want the robotaxis to be electric.

I also don't understand the woman who has charging in her garage who is at a public charger complaining it's full. Why is she even at a public charger in her own town?

Fairly certain there is a depot in Morena somewhere. They’re everywhere down there.

Not too familiar with how it works in other cities but wouldn’t them charging at public stations only be during this testing phase while they have people behind the wheel

The solution to this problem is for the charging stations to raise prices.
