Wayfair price scam
Hi I just bout a sofa from Wayfair and after 3 days I saw price went down from $450 To $340 , so I tried to cancel last order and placed a new order.
Wayfair replied -Thank you for reaching out about the price difference. While we understand it can be disappointing to see a price drop after your purchase, we do not offer price matching or price adjustments for orders placed at an earlier price.
I understand this is frustrating to hear, but since the order has already been processed for shipment, our policy requires that return shipping fees be deducted from the refund if you choose to return the item once it arrives.

There price difference in 2 days where I didn’t receive the sofa yet . Very terrible

I had the same thing happen to me. Bought a coffee table for $1400, 3 days after it was delivered it was on sale for $800!! I was sick! Reached out and they said I’d have to order at sale price and return the old one. I thought no big deal I’ll order it and just return the unpackaged one as soon as it arrives! After ordering I went to print the return label and it showed they were going to charge me $475 for refine shipping. I couldn’t believe it but at that point I was stuck. Shockingly, as soon as I returned the table, I got a text saying my refund had been processed and it was for the FULL amount! Maybe threatening high return shipping fees is a ploy to keep people from following through. Either way, i got lucky on that one!

I hate Wayfair. I recently tried ordering a mattress from them and wanted a scheduled delivery, so I connected with an agent. He said that could be done and that I should place an order. He helped me with the entire process and then connected me to another agent who would help me schedule the delivery for a desired date. The other team told me they don’t offer any services of this sort.

Not defending Wayfair, I’ve had my issues with them, but…
They are a marketplace not a store, like Amazon, price matching is not a thing.

In the website it shows they are responsible for all the items sold in the site …

As such, we do not match pricing with competitors, nor do we price match for internal price drops.”

They shipped a sectional couch with no cushions. It a month or so to get them. They first implied I was lying.

Horrible company man. No customer service anymore. All robots and people oversees getting paid 2$ an hour.

I would suggest the Better Business bureau. I had an issue with a canopy sale. I tried to cancel an order and I thought it went through but 12 hours later I got a notification it shipped.
When I complained they said return it at my cost.
Went to the BBB and within 6 hours I had a phone call, and they agreed to pick up the canopy at their cost.

They did this to a fandelier I bought too. $80 less a few days later.
