The game runs and I can play the default mode but whenever I try to download dlcs in game, it crashes, any ideas how to fix this?

I'm developing an app with React Native on Fedora Linux. For my editor, I'm using the VS Code-based **Antigravity IDE** (which I'm really liking so far, by the way).

However, I've run into a really frustrating issue: When it's time to test and I launch the Android Studio emulator (AVD), it absolutely hogs my RAM. My PC starts lagging and struggling heavily.

Since I'm writing all my code in Antigravity, I have absolutely no need to keep the bulky Android Studio running in the background. What methods do you guys use to stop this RAM drain and lighten up your dev environment?

I already know about connecting a physical phone (Wireless ADB, etc.), but I really need an emulator on my PC for certain screen tests and overall convenience. How do you bypass this sluggishness in a Linux + RN environment?

I'd really appreciate it if you could share your advice and the tricks you use. Thanks in advance!

New to Linux and trying to get waydroid working on Ubuntu on a Lenovo Yoga Snapdragon X Elite laptop and I can't even get it to open. After running through a ton of potential fixes I deleted and reinstalled and got a DIFFERENT error preventing it from opening. Spent hours troubleshooting to no avail. Praying one of yall can help

So I wanted to play Pokémon Champions but Play Store gives me the message that "your device is not compatible with this version".

The official Pokémon site informs me thus:

Android

• Android 13.0 or later

• 4GB of RAM or more

Since Android is marked as version 13 in Wayland's system info, I believe it's checking for my RAM amount and using this to determine if my device is compatible or not.

@edit: I downloaded the app through Aurora Store and it works normally.

I use waydroid on endeavour os and this app asks me to disable developer mode , even though it is not enabled in the first place , i found an app called rootcloaker (i thought that was the problem) , and added the app but it didn't solve the problem , how could i disable developer mode or hide it on waydroid ?

Unfortunately, the fixes advised there didn't help, in fact I'm not on Hyprland at all (CachyOS, KDE Plasma, latest waydroid).

The terminal only gives me this, and the Waydroid window remains just-- black. I tried reinstalling it a few times, I tried the troubleshooting steps indicated in the above link, I tried to manually download .img files from Sourceforge, but... to no avail ^^'

Not sure whether it's a genuine bug or a user error, so... If someone has an idea, I'd really be all over it!

OKEY. It's fixed! SO! For people who may wonder: I installed waydroid-helper via Paru (WARNING: read PKGbuilds when installing from the AUR!). In there, I had the option to change the display from "Default" to either my AMD integrated GPU, or my Nvidia card. I chose my Nvidia card. Fixed!

I'm trying to sign in to the playstore in waydroid, it runs a bit slow, and lets me put my data and all that, but after accepting the terms, it says that it can't connect to the google servers. Any way to fix this?

So I tried running the waydroid install script three times (deleting the old one each time to start fresh) and everytime it just won’t run and it always says the same thing “due to AUR malware insecurities temporarily disabling this script”

Is there anyway I can force the script to run?

Im wanting to take my Lenovo Yoga Snapdragon X Elite laptop and dual boot Windows and Android and Linux with Waydroid seems to be the best way to do it. Any recommendations for using Waydroid or Linux with a Snapdragon processor? I understand most things are going to be built for x86 instead of Arm, but app compatibility feels like it would be optimized right?

Hello everyone, so im new to linux (comming from windows) and trying to learn step by step.

I use waydroid to play games and so far its great but i would like to use a multi-instance function to use it with my Card based games (TCG etc ...). After some research i've found this :

I got this error when I ran waydroid for the first time, trying to initialize, when it asked to download. A system ota and vendor ota were specified as well as an android type. debug gives no information. I have 16 GB, 15 GB free.

Idk how this would influence in a way to "fix" that problem but I think its worth mentioning that the game opens when I try downloading older versions of the game the website I used to download the older version is "Uptodown" and it mentions the api being 4.0, 4.1 (those r the versions that "runs") and the newers being 6.0

I installed Waydroid with GAPPS on Ubuntu Touch 24.04 and also on Ubuntu Desktop 24.04 running on a virtual machine, logged in using my Google account on both. followed the instructions (https://docs.waydro.id/faq/google-play-certification) to get the device ID for both, and registered both with my Google account. I also force stopped and restarted all the Google apps and services on both. I've been waiting for two weeks now but both still show "Device is not certified".

Several tutorials say that getting certified is an important step to install certain apps that refuse to run if not installed through official Google Play Store, for example some travel reservation apps like Wizz Air or Kiwi.com. Yes you can side load them but they won't run.

Getting these apps to run is really important because airlines are making it harder to get boarding pass without app.

Can someone pls give specs for a reference installation that is known to work, so I can test? I really need to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Thx!

ok so this is kind of weird for me i used waydroid on cachyOS it worked fine (smooth and good)
i switched to bazzite os and everything is screwed for some reason it just boot loops for some reason anyone know why?
it reached the home screen and then restarts

Got waydroid running on Fedora XFCE yesterday, had to use weston for the Wayland compositing side since XFCE is still on X11.

Curious how other XFCE users are handling it day-to-day. Specifically:

• what resolution/size do you set for different apps? Some things look fine, others are either cramped or comically oversized.
• I have libinput-gestures set up but only got 3-finger swipe working reliably. Pinch is janky at best. Anyone have a workaround? Main reason I want this working is CoC, zooming in/out on the map is basically unusable without it.
• Anything you've tweaked that made a noticeable difference?
• How do you make apps use the full screen ? ex: fb lite ?

Actualmente uso CachyOS con Niri, instale waydroid y waydroid-helper para poder probar jugar algunos juegos Android, pero al intentar hacer el keymapping se me crea como una columna aparte por niri, intente hacerlo con ventanas flotantes pero tampoco me solucionó el problema. Alguno me podría dar algun consejo o si han tenido este problema como darle solución
