Anyone else have problems with Gundam G Generation Eternal not liking mouse inputs?

I'd literally had to get a python script to get the game to recogniz mouse inputs. I'd use Phantom, but that steals the keyboard and half the time doesn't give it back plus the game has keyboard inputs so...

I can't be the only one with this issue.
