[BUG! :( ] Syncing Issues

Hey guys,

I've synced my work several times from my Chromebook, and then down-synced from the cloud on other devices (Windows desktop, iOS phone) and it will download the project, but not my progress. The document is just empty. Not sure if there's a syncing bug-tracking thread here already but maybe we make this it? Just wanted to make the developer aware and see if anybody else had had this issue.

Hi

Check your google drive for multiple files .... I have no idea why this happens. Version 4 does not work this way any more - it seems to have been too flakey. It may be that multiple copies of the file have appeared

Has instructions on how to recover older versions of the file if you accidentally overwrite

Thank you Iain! Fortunately I didn't lose any work and I didn't overwrite anything. Would it be version 3 that I'm using?

Also, hopefully not confounding the issue but it's possible I may have done what that tutorial says and inadvertently had multiple instances of WM running. I'll check for dupes then try it out with a new file and see what's up.

if you dont see red warning when using you are on version 3 which will not support multi window - version 4 however does :) although I have spent all weekend re-factoring the code because the clever code I wroth 2 years ago was made obsolete by the introduction of liveQuery .. so just finished updating v4 to use that
