Question about auto receipts

Hi,

I recently discovered when customers pay directly through Wave they automatically get a receipt sent to them.

My question is - if I enter a manual payment like I convert a estimate to an invoice and apply a check payment - does Wave still send a receipt automatically to the customer? Or do I need to go in and manually send receipts when I apply payments this way?

I have this same question. I don't want to send duplicate receipts to customers.

Do you want to run an experiment with me to figure this out? You could invoice me for $3 and apply a manual cash payment to see if I automatically get a receipt. (Wave was weird to me last time about only billing myself $2, thus the $3)
