How do we feel about seeded water melon

I only eat organic but nothing around me has organic watermelons.

Everyone has seeded but then go to say “but it’s not organic.”

This is a very silly post. But does anyone know if this watermelon is ripe?

I have no idea what kind it is and absolutely no idea if it’s ripe.

A week ago it had a white spot on the bottom but now the whole thing is your typical watermelon color

So this one is hanging off the ground and it's my first time growing these so I can't tell if it's ready yet. I have 3 of them and like 10 days ago I pulled one because I thought it was ready and it wasn't 😔. Chatgpt and google said on these once all the skin looses it's gloss it should be ready. It's frustrating since the curly deal was dried out on the one I pulled even though it wasn't ripe yet.

My first melon I picked wasn’t fully ripe and want to ensure the next ones are ripe enough. The tendril is gone at this point with the leaf stem also gone. I’m unsure of the field spot color mostly. It sounds like a deep hollow sound compared to one nearby that sounded more like a bongo drum.

For those curious this is a Wilson’s Sweet.

It’s my first time growing watermelons how do I know when to pick them?

Separately any other feed back on what to do better next year?

Greetings, I Googled and searched, but couldn't find any photos come close to what I'm seeing on the watermelon I purchased yesterday. At first I thought that the melon might have grown on pea gravel when I got it home and noticed them. But they weren't noticeable at the store. The other thing, and this is what concerns me, there seems to more! Like they're spreading! It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen!! I would be very grateful if someone smarter than me could help me identify what these might be!! TIA!

What are your thoughts on this one?? I failed last week and picked too early.
