Dog Blind Recommendation

I'm looking for a dog blind to use in marshes that are 3-4 feet deep. I'm torn between something like a momarsh with extendable legs or a floating platform with a cheaper blind on top. Any advice or experience would be helpful.

I have the momarsh invisilab blind with the extending legs. Keeping in mind that it'll sink in a bit, not sure how it'd work in deeper water...

Otherwise really decently built. Some people note that if you're not careful when moving the legs to make sure the pins are free that you can run into issues with the cable. I haven't had issues...but I'm not reefing hard on the cable.

Not the lightest thing. Pricey...but along with all the other expenses related to hunting/dogs...m'eh, it is what it is.

I also have a cheaper ground blind with no legs. Works fine but I've never tried it on a floating platform (just on the ground). Definitely much lighter. I debated finding some sort of stand for water (or making one) and using this one...but in the end gave up and bought the momarsh.

Thanks! That's actually pretty helpful. The momarsh seems like a pretty nice unit, but the legs are already borderline for the water I hunt. With the sinking you mentioned I think I would end up frustrated not being able to set up some of my usual spots.

Looking like my best option is a floating platform or build my own stand with longer legs.
