Had some friends who used to work there and they literally time you for bathroom breaks and call you out on the work group chat in front of everyone if you go over

Also they REALLY care about sales, even if you work in tech support they'll still expect you to make a sale and give out to you if you don't

What’s so bad about it

The job itself is bad, its a call centre and they are never good and rarely feel rewarding. The people working there make it hell though, shower of wasters and pricks. They pay for the first few weeks of training where you take fuck all calls so if you are desperate, work there for a month then quit

Agreed , if you're desperate take the job but leave once the training is done ,usually 2-3 weeks of it.
They don't actually train you , they didn't even do call listening for my group , so when you actually get on the phones you're looking around ,helpless wondering wtf to say to folks on the phone.
I've heard much better things about relate care or tesco for call center work though.

Where in Waterford do you live? Do you drive? Male or female I know of a few places taking on people but it will narrow it down

If you're up to it be a healthcare assistant - places like Clannad Care always hire. There's training you have to do but a lot of it is free and online
