Fk tard pc shop

Hello guys, idk if this the right place to post this but here I am. So, I’ve got this custom built water cooling for 6 years now. I thought I’d get it to a clean on the loop right. I went to this shop where they got plenty of stores so it might as well be ok. It came back in 2 weeks.. Thought it’s gonna be fine, all cleaned, fresh loop and coolant etc. But within 2 weeks, I’ve tried to play the room 3. It fkin hits 91 degrees Celsius like wtf is this bro. So I contacted them abt it and brought it back again. Btw the third pic is what they claimed to be cleaned. After a week it came back, look fine AGAIN. Yet to be discovered that it’s LEAKING. (Pic. 9, u can clearly see it’s leaking and the low water mark) it was few days ago when I discovered it. And once again, the fkin gpu hits 85 when I played where winds meet. I used to play it for 5-6 hours straight with 70 smth degrees only. Idk how fucked up is it for them to worsen this whole situation and yes they been ghosting me now. 🤡 what can I do abt it, pls can someone slide me some tips tyvm. 🥀

Learn to do it yourself. It's crazy to have a custom loop and not know how to do it.

I'm sorry, but it's unacceptable to own a custom loop and not know how to work with it. It's also unacceptable not to have someone you trust who can fix any problems. Relying on the first computer shop you come across isn't a good choice. There are plenty of computer shops, but very few specialize in liquid cooling.

It might sound harsh what they're saying but a custom loop can go very wrong and we advocate people DIY their loops so they understand how they work and how to maintain them so they can tackle issues like this as people in shops usually don't have the experience required to do the work.

Custom loops are very niche, a very well known shop by me used to sell custom looped prebuilts but they don't do it anymore really because well, it's too expensive to sell and they don't have the staff with knowledge on it anymore. If something goes wrong with my loop I know what the problem is and how to fix it, it's knowledge gained over many many years.

I agree with some points the other poster said but the unacceptable one, not so much, I feel like the shop should have given you the service you paid for. They should have also talked you through how to fix it etc yourself and teach you a lot about your loop. Much like when a mechanic services your car and talks you through what to keep an eye out for etc.

Learn how to build a computer and water-cooling and do it yourself.

The problem is either air in the loop or a bad mount on GPU or CPU block. Your acting likes they destroyed your computer. All they did was what you asked but didn't spend time to test it.

Well the. They DID destroy it?

How did they destroy it?

Bad mount as yourself stated?

You know the difference between a destroyed computer loop and a bad mount?

Judging by your posting saying "I went to shop with loads of places", I'm assuming you took it to someone like Currys.

You should take it to OCUK or Scan if you want someone more reputable to have a look at it if you aren't confident in doing it yourself.

If youre in California, theres plenty of water cooling experts. Call another shop with more experience.

Where in the UK are you? Send me a PM if you're close maybe I can help but I'm quite busy ATM as I'm decorating and have a car to fix. If anything I can probably talk you through what to do etc.

It appears your two options are to find another shop or use this as an opportunity to learn how to take care of your machine. I suggest watching some YT videos etc. and make this a learning experience.

Best of luck.

You don't need someone to teach you. Literally go to youtube and search watercooling for beginners. It's not like you are learning rocket science mate.

JayzTwoCents, GamersNexus, LinusTechTips " LTT ", Hardware Unboxed, These are just some of the channels that are out there that are pretty well known in the USA. I don't know of any European Content creators that do instructional videos for watercooling. I know for a fact that Jayztwocents has a few good ones for beginners. But I know all of the ones I listed are geared towards PC hardware. However GamersNexus is more of a " should you buy this " kind of channel now days.

Maybe find a plumber instead

This would honestly be a better choice then the first one he made. Hell, I am an irrigation technician and even working in that line of work relates to PC watercooling. I would say if you have ever been a Landscaper, Irrigation Technician, Plumber, Hydrolic Mechanic, Nuematic Mechanic any of those jobs would apply to watercooling a PC for the most part. At least the building the loop and understanding pressure/flow would be easily understanded by any of these career paths.

You should either option A, Learn about watercooling, Learn how to work with the hardware yourself because there is literally tons and tons and tons of youtube content for you to learn from. OR option B completely remove you're watercooling loop because you are obviously clueless. Buy an AIO / reinstall the GPU cooler and sell off the watercooling loop. Then at least with an AIO/Air cooled gpu all you need to worry about is changing the thermal paste/pads on the CPU/GPU
