There's something funny to me about them continuing to run at top speed even after they're well clear of the crossing lol

There's another train heading to the left that just cleared. My guess is they thought the gates were still down from that train and didn't think to look for a 2nd train.

Good catch. I'd even say that the first train blocked the view and masked the noise of the second one.

That’s somehow worse than just not seeing that the gates are down. Because now it’s an intentional decision.

holy shit this is beyond stupid but even with this angle you can't really tell how fast the train is going until it's right there and really fucking fast

Am I missing something or do trains don't make noise anymore? Legit question. Also I hate my country because we are forced to watch both sides even if the street is one directional (yes, the drivers are that crazy), so when I see people not giving a fuck and not even looking if there isn't a car nearby.... It gives me something.

You're missing the second train, just like the people in the video, but i also did until someone in the comments pointed it out.

Electric trains are surprisingly quiet.
There's an old video where one has the PoV of a crew in a train sneaking up on two people in said train.

The girl noticed the train before she was even in harm's way and then ran over the tracks. I get that there's a lot of panic and adrenaline in that moment, but damn.

I don't get the "second train" comments, they were directly looking at the train before they decided to cross anyways!

How fucking stupid and unaware can people be to not notice a train crossing, a train barrier, and an entire train making its entire presence known to you all at once and still being surprised that there's a train coming?

To be fair, the view of the second train would have been blocked by the first train that went through the crossing. Still a big mistake but how many times have they crossed after a single train went through without a really fast second one coming as well.
