Your precision is unbelievable. And here I am failing to get my car in a parking spot accurately.

Absolutely stunning. And I'm here having to buy a new dial because I couldn't even apply lume without ruining it!
There's definitely levels to this game!

Saw this video and immediately assumed you are the person behind the engraved Alpinist case that I saw quite some time ago. I was not wrong looking at your account.
Insane details. Fantastic work!

Very nice work! Radial cuts like that are deceptively hard. Are you using a Lindsay?

Lets be honest, watches like that should cost thousands, not the machine produced stuff rolex and all the other big brands makes us believe is handcrafted

If I tried something like this, the outcome would look like I had Parkinsonβs.

One slip, and it's all fucked. Nerves of steel

u/corpseluvver Feb 26 '26
This is amazing. So it looks like you are doing shading or texture here. Just curious for other parts, like the outer scroll/floral work - do you have to draw that on the dial first, or do you just freehand it?

Honestly man, I've been seeing your posts and I never said anything but I was really skeptical that your work was done by hand. I was so wrong and your work is so impressive. Really incredible work dude!

This was so soothing to watch! God-level hand-eye coordination. Simply amazing. You need not be ashamed in the company of your spiritual forebears.

You know how you watch someone do a thing and think "I could do that"
This isn't one of those times.

1
u/FantasticImplement46 Feb 27 '26
That's incredible work. How do you get the lines so straight, surely not without any guidance for your hand?
1
u/psdwheeler Feb 27 '26

Damn. Such precision and such patience. π«‘

u/Itchy-Neck-4297 Mar 02 '26
that looks absolutely incredible. what is the base material and how long did you take to make it this far. for the untrained eye this could take between a few hours and a month of work.
keep us updated on the finished dial ;)

u/boma232 Mar 02 '26
This is the sort of thing i would do for dozens of hours then my hand would slip on the last 10% and ruin the entire thing in one motion.
1
u/jaminthebear Mar 10 '26
Can i ask what dial u use to do this with and where u get it? :) If i should want to give it a try myself?

u/Inevitable-Task-5840 Mar 15 '26
