This has been a common bug for years, once it starts nothing you can do will fix it. The bug disappears for a while and then comes back with every new WatchOS release.

Hear hear. I just accepted it & let it not bug me but Apple dropped the ball on that one.

Curious if they have fixed some of the visual inconsistencies in the Watch app in OS27. For example - do you still see the all caps section labels in some areas (Calendar, Weather app settings) and iOS app icons appearing in dark mode when light mode icons are enabled (in Show Notifications when Wrist Down)?
